Madelaine Henwood

Madelaine is a Partner, and head of the Residential Property team at Judge & Priestley. Madelaine is a highly experienced senior solicitor who joined Judge & Priestley in 2008, following the merger of Wallis and Co where she was also a partner.

Experience

Madelaine is an experienced solicitor and heads our Residential Property department. She deals with all types of residential sales and purchases, acting for individuals who are remortgaging their properties and also dealing with transfers of equity and lease extensions. She also acts for the firm's developer clients in the sale of newly built homes.

Much of Madelaine’s work is repeat business with satisfied clients returning to repeat their conveyancing experience.

Madelaine oversees the growth of the department, manages the fee earners and trains them to provide the Judge & Priestley way of client service.

Recent Highlights

Madelaine set up the site and the sale of an estate of 39 houses in Bromley.

Madelaine has also successfully achieved the sale off plan of a reputable local development, including the creation of a residents management company.

Outside of work

Madelaine rides and competes her horse.
