Judge & Priestley's delight at Will Aid's anniversary success

Hard working and generous solicitors at Judge & Priestley in Bromley recently took part in Will Aid 2013 and are delighted to announce a fabulous fundraising total of £406,000 (both legacies and donations) to contribute to the nationwide 25^th anniversary total.

Will Aid is the UK's leading charity will-writing scheme. It offers everyone the opportunity to make or update their Will in return for a donation to help people in need in the UK and all over the world. This money is shared by nine well-known UK charities: ActionAid, Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, Save the Children, Sightsavers, SCIAF (Scotland) and Trocaire (Northern Ireland).

As part of the Will Aid campaign, Judge & Priestley prepared Wills for local people without charging the usual fee. In return for this service, the clients made donations to Will Aid.

We are particularly proud to have been involved in this Will Aid’s 25^th Anniversary campaign and to have been able to contribute such a healthy sum. The money we have raised will be added to the nationwide total, which currently stands at £1.5 million and is expected to exceed £2 million once all the money is in. This will be put to work to make a real and lasting difference to vulnerable children, families and older people in the UK and around the world.”
