Judge & Priestley Raise in Excess of £50,000 for Charities

Over the past 12 months, Judge & Priestley has participated in various fund raising activities aimed at supporting local and national charities.

The firm as a whole places a high degree of emphasis on charitable commitments.  Staff at Judge & Priestley are encouraged to take an active role in supporting their chosen charities.

Judge & Priestley organised a series of charitable events and successfully raised in excess of £55,000 during the course of the last financial year.  Such efforts included hosting three Free Will events, pro bono legal surgeries, coffee mornings, running the London Marathon, participating in the Macmillan Cancer Support bike ride and Living Below the Line Challenge. Earlier this year, Liz Pearman of Save the Children, representing all nine Will Aid charities, paid Judge & Priestley a special visit to thank their staff for their fantastic contribution to Will Aid and to present them with a Will Aid certificate. She explained the importance of the team’s hard work to Save the Children:

“Judge & Priestley has raised an amazing amount of money for the Will Aid charities, including Save the Children and I would like to thank them on behalf of the millions of children whose lives will be helped both overseas and here in the UK, thanks to their work. Judge & Priestley’s commitment to Will Aid will give some of the world’s poorest children a chance of a brighter, happier future.”

David Chandra, Partner and Head of Private Client  Department, commented on the firm’s success:

‘It has been a success and we are thrilled by the generosity of our clients and local community. As a firm our commitment to charities is very important and we will continue our hard work and efforts.

We are pleased to announce that from 1st August, Age UK Bromley & Greenwich will be our chosen local charity and we will continue supporting Macmillan Cancer Support.”
