Judge & Priestley is delighted to welcome Work Experience students from the University of Kent

Candidates will spend two weeks at the Departments which they showed the most interest in as a possible career, spreading out from the 25^th of July until the 16^th of September 2022.

As part of our commitment to the development of new generations of solicitors, Judge & Priestley takes part in Work Experience schemes with students from leading local universities. This year, 4 of the firm’s departments participated in a Work Experience scheme with the University of Kent:

Private client
Family
Commercial Property
Credit Solutions Commercial Debt Recovery

To be eligible for Work Experience, each student qualified for Employability points throughout their university year, and those with enough points were able to apply to Judge & Priestley. After the interviewing and short-listing process, the firm took on 7 candidates.

The successful applicants will spend two weeks at the firm assigned to the Departments in which they showed the most interest in as a possible career. This figure represents an increase from our pre-pandemic intake, which was 2 candidates per year. The scheme started on the 25^th of July and ends on the 16^th of September 2022, and the students are spread out through those dates.

We sincerely hope that this project will give students an insight on the job market, provide them with valuable experience for future applications and maybe even consider a career with Judge & Priestley. It is a pleasure to have them with us.
