Improved Rankings for Judge & Priestley in the Legal 500

Once again, Judge & Priestley has achieved excellent results in the recently announced Legal 500 2013.  The Legal 500 is the largest and most in-depth survey of the UK Legal market, and the recommendations and rankings are based largely on what our clients say.

We have improved our ranking in Social Housing and Debt Recovery both now appearing within the top 3 tiers.  Mark Oakley and newly recommended Pamela Bachu have both been mentioned in the directory.

  • Judge & Priestley LLP’s debt recovery practice is led by Mark Oakley. It recently acted for a London Borough in a recovery valued at approximately £1.1m.
  • Judge & Priestley LLP’s social housing team is ‘very knowledgeable’ and ‘easy to work with’. It mainly assists social landlords, advising on income management issues, possession claims and anti-social behaviour cases. Consultant Pamela Bachu is ‘very approachable’, and ‘particularly good in disrepair claims’.

The firm’s debt recovery department has grown immensely over the past few years with continued investment in our IT system and people.  Over the last 3 years, the size of the department has almost doubled with the continued recruitment of new staff to support the growing business.

Steven Taylor, Managing Partner commented:

“We are delighted with our rankings this year which is recognition of Judge & Priestley’s growing strength and focus of our two practice areas Debt Recovery and Social Housing Litigation. The results reflect the high quality and standards of our work and dedication of our staff.”
