Clarke Nurse joins forces with Judge & Priestley LLP

Property specialists, Clarke Nurse, are to merge with Bromley based Solicitors, Judge & Priestley LLP, later this month.

The announcement follows discussions between the two firms of Solicitors and will see the Orpington based practice, headed by Tony Clarke and Anne Nurse, move in with Judge & Priestley at their offices in West Street on Monday 22 August.

Judge & Priestley is a well-known litigation practice covering all aspects of contentious matters from employment and contractual disputes to family, debt recovery, personal injury and social housing management issues. It also has its own Wills, Inheritance & Trusts Department, offering advice on managing your private affairs.

Whilst Judge & Priestley already has an existing Conveyancing Department dealing with commercial and residential property, buying & selling businesses, development acquisitions, setting up contracts and liquor licences, Tony Clarke and Anne Nurse bring to the firm over 50 years’ combined experience in managing property transactions for housing associations, developers, businesses and private clients and in particular Anne Nurse will be spearheading the firm’s brand new Housing Association Property Development Department.

“After 10½ years and in light of recent and forthcoming changes it seemed the appropriate time to join with another practice,” says Anne Nurse. “The two practices complement one another and together we aim to provide an all encompassing service.”

Steven Taylor, Managing Partner of Judge & Priestley, says of the move: “As a progressive firm of Solicitors we are always looking at ways to expand and improve on the services we provide and ultimately stay one step ahead of our competitors. Clarke Nurse have a proven track record in the property sector and, with their wealth of knowledge and experience, will enhance our existing property division for the benefit of our clients.”
