Peter Taylor
Peter is an increasingly experienced solicitor, working in the Private Client Department. He regularly receives excellent client reviews, for the combination of the quality of his work with his empathetic and friendly approach.
Experience
Peter is a key member of the Private Client team. Priding himself of his friendliness and approachability. Peter also assists in the arrears of elderly client services, probate, wills, powers of attorney and general affairs.
Peter is now registered as a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguard for some clients and continues to develop his wealth of knowledge and experience in the realms of the jurisdiction of Court of Protection matters. Peter has also worked as an assistant at a central London Law clinic offering free legal advice to those who were vulnerable and unable to afford it.
Peter has been a key member in the successful Will Aid Schemes which have raised several thousand pounds for the nominated charities of Will Aid. Peter continues his support out of the office by undertaking fundraising for other care homes in the local area.
Prior to becoming a Solicitor, Peter gained extensive legal experience, first as a senior paralegal and then as a Trainee Solicitor in the Private Client department, working on complex Court of Protection matters.

Peter is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Peter is also a fully qualified member of Solicitors for the Elderly.
Recent Highlights
Peter assisted a recent client in successfully challenging a local authority’s decision in relation to their client’s care home fee contribution, making a considerable saving for the client.
Outside of work
In his spare time, Peter enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, climbing, and sports. Last year, Peter completed the 10km London Legal Walk.
Peter also enjoys travelling and his most recent trip took him to Istanbul in 2018. A particular highlight though was Peter visiting Asia at the beginning of 2016 for a friend’s wedding in India.
